Privacy Policy

Ninefold Sudoku · Effective July 17, 2026

In short: Ninefold Sudoku needs no account and collects no personal information for advertising or profiling. Your progress stays on your device and — if you use iCloud — syncs privately through your own iCloud account. Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. No ads, no third-party analytics, no cross-app tracking.

1. Who we are

Ninefold Sudoku ("the App") is developed by Gentleflow ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how. If you have questions, contact us at gentleflowoverseas@gmail.com.

2. Information we do not collect

  • We do not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email, phone number, or address to play.
  • We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or browsing history.
  • We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) and do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data with data brokers.

3. Data the App stores and uses

  • On-device game data. Your progress, statistics, streaks, settings, and brain profile are stored locally on your device in the App's private storage.
  • iCloud sync (optional). If you are signed in to iCloud with Key-Value storage enabled, the App syncs your game progress across your devices using Apple's iCloud. This data lives in your personal iCloud account, is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and we cannot read it. You can turn it off in iOS Settings.
  • Local notifications. If you enable streak reminders, the App schedules them locally on your device. No reminder data leaves your device; there is no push server.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Ninefold Sudoku offers an optional Premium subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to verify and restore purchases and manage entitlements. For this, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app-user identifier together with purchase and device information (such as transaction identifiers, country, and device/OS type). RevenueCat processes this on our behalf; see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment card information.

5. Diagnostics

If you have enabled "Share With App Developers" in iOS, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance data with us through App Store Connect. It is not linked to your identity.

6. Children's privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal information, the App builds no profile of any user, including children.

7. Your choices

  • Turn off iCloud sync in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud.
  • Turn off notifications in iOS Settings › Notifications › Ninefold.
  • Delete all local data by deleting the App.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.

8. Data retention

Local and iCloud game data remain until you delete them or remove the App. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained under their own policies.

9. International users

Data handled by our providers (Apple, RevenueCat) may be processed in countries other than yours, under their respective safeguards.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will appear here with a new effective date.
